The Department of Justice (DOJ) Asset Forfeiture Management Staff (AFMS) is committed to making our information accessible to individuals with disabilities by meeting or exceeding the requirements of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended. Our ongoing accessibility efforts ensure that our web content meets Section 508 standards and conforms to the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, Level AA. Under Section 508, we are required to provide individuals with disabilities access to electronic and information technology and data comparable to those who do not have disabilities, unless an undue burden would be imposed on us. Filing a Complaint Alleging a Violation of Section 508
If you would like to file a Section 508-related complaint, please contact the AFMS Section 508 coordinator by email at AFMS.Services@usdoj.gov. Please include the web address (URL) or website name, the specific problem you encountered, and the dates and times access was attempted or when the issue became apparent.
Reasonable Accommodations
This website’s primary purpose is to post legal notices for the government and to provide an interface for parties of interest to file a claim contesting the forfeiture and/or a petition for remission or mitigation in lieu of forfeiture. Information about an agency’s reasonable accommodations procedures for federal employees and job applicants consistent with Section 501 of the Rehabilitation Act, can be found on the employing agency’s website.
